Holly & Tommy's Wedding

On Saturday, September 19th I worked my first "Day of" Wedding. I only started helping with this wedding after things had been planned and vendors had been hired. It was a unique experience coming into a wedding that had been already planned. It was such a beautiful day for a wedding - you could not ask for a more perfect day for a wedding - clear skies, sunny and cool. The bride looked stunning in her gown and the bridesmaids were in green and white dresses. The guys were dresses casually in white dress shirts and khakis. The ceremony was help in the courtyard outside at Bear Creek Resort and the reception followed at the Lower Macungie Community Center, which was decorated so beautifully - gerber daisies in mason jars with tea lights surrounding. The favors were little pots with daisy shaped lollipops. Holly put so much time and energy into this wedding and it turned out beautifully. I didn't take very many pictures today, as I was very busy! I'm hoping to get some from the photographer. But I did take a picture of the cake, which pretty much shows you how everything was decorated with the daisies and the accents of green. Holly & Tommy were such a fun couple and looked so happy - they had such a perfect day for an awesome couple! I'm so grateful to have been apart of their day!

Colleen & Andrew's Wedding

This wedding was held at the Jersey shore on July 4th. Here are few photos highlighting this beautiful day. Colleen and Andrew decided to play off of the blues from the ocean and the sky. They had such a beautiful day as well. Here are some pictures that highlight the site, flowers, the bridesmaids dresses, the runner, program, cake, table decors, favors (sparkers and matches for the 4th of July), and candy buffet. All of the flowers, table decor, and handmade items were done by the talented Groom's mother.

Erin & Patrick's Wedding

Yes, this was my wedding, but I want all my wedding posts to look similar from here on out. Here are a few photos that highlight the key details of my wedding. It was a Tuscan themed wedding - our colors were a Sage Green with accents of Purple and Tan.

Here are a few pictures to highlight the flowers, bridesmaids dresses, rings (from Ireland), reception site, cake, unity candle, and table decor.

Becoming a Consultant

So, I've officially decided to enter the world of wedding consulting professionally. I've planned and helped plan weddings for myself, family and friends in the past 3 years. It all started with my wedding, whic I planned for years even before I was engaged. I loved all the little details that went into planning my wedding and had every idea I could dream of in an organized binder ready to show my unsuspecting fiance. When it came time to find all the vendors I needed, doing the research was so much fun. I loved seeing all the places and what they offered, and how I could make it fit into our budget. We had a simple budget, but I had big dreams. And I was able to make my dreams come true - we had an amazing wedding and I stayed right on budget. After my wedding, I helped a few friends do research on venues, what flowers to use, where to find centerpieces that they wanted, what creative favors to use, and so much more. The next start to finish wedding I helped with was my sister's. She actually had to plan two weddings - a church service and then a beach wedding with the reception. My family all lives in PA, however she recently moved to South Carolina, and was planning her wedding at the Jersey shore. It was definitely complicated, but it made the day all the more memorable. In my coming posts, I'll include some pictures from both my wedding and my sister's wedding to highlight some of the creative items that I came up with.

I am just entering the business, however I know that my attention to detail and organization will help any couple plan a beautiful wedding day. I believe that no matter what your budget is, there are so many different ways to have your dream wedding. I'm asking you to take a chance on me - I know right now it looks like I have little experience, but that just means I will work all the harder to make your wedding day perfect. Please contact me to find out more about how I can help you plan your day! Happy planning and I hope to hear from you soon!
